Pivotal Movements Equine Program is offering a one-day interactive workshop designed to educate participants on the basics of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) based off the EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) model.
This workshop is designed to introduce the core concepts behind EAP and EAL, how they can be used to enhance traditional educational and psychotherapeutic models, as well as to demonstrate basic EAP/EAL activities with participants. EAP and EAL create a natural and non-threatening opportunity, especially for those new to or uncomfortable with traditional educational and therapeutic settings. This model enhances the ability for clients to identify negative patterns of behavior and practice new functional ones.
